Baby Flaxen is a term used when describing a young horse that has flaxen in it’s mane and tail. It is seen roughly from the ages of new born to a few years of age. Baby Flaxen is more commonly seen on Bay horses. Baby Flaxen can commonly be mistaken for Gulastra Plume however they are two different effects.
