There are a few colours of horses that have yet to have a known gene responsible for causing their colours. As of right now there are three assumed dilute genes that still need to be genetically studied. The first is being name Light Black found in the Arabian. Second is a colour called Mushroom which is found in Shetland ponies. Third is a colour that has yet to be named, it is found in Morgans.
