The spots on LP Complex horses can range largely and can be defined by phenotype.
Peacock Spots
Peacock Spots, or Halo Spots, are where the spots on the horse are not completely solid but rather have a dark center with a lighter ring around the spot of the colour and white hair mixed together.
Mouldy Spots
Mouldy Spots are spots that are lighter due to having the mixture of white hairs within the spots themselves. A horse’s spots can change over it’s lifetime changing from dark spots to Mouldy Spots or change from Mouldy Spots to dark spots.
Snowball Spots
Snowball Spots are larger white spots and splotches that the horse is born with. They can grow with age. These spots are often located on different parts of the body and not be located within a blanket.
