Named after the Thoroughbred The Tetrarch who exhibited this pattern of large white ovals and circles on the coat although it is also referred to as Chubari Spots. The progress of this pattern is where the horse is solid coloured, it produces these spots on its body, then the horse greys out eventually evening out the horse’s coat.
Tetrarch Spots Genetics
Due to the Thoroughbred The Tetrarch producing children, and the children in tern producing children, who exhibit this pattern before complete greying it does appear to have some sort of genetic factor.
